QED

poesy

road warrior

I want to hold the sky with her.

But the droplets of moist earth force

a sentence to run into fortresses of cinder block

and chapparal.

the road is no longer.

dust

and flecks of coal are

all that remain.

I try again to tame my fluid thoughts,

as I stare into

forests impregnated with

steel.
